The Silesian Center for Freedom and Solidarity is expanding its space to become a new hub for meetings, education, and culture. Together with local residents, we want to build a sense of identity – a place accessible to everyone, open to the needs of the local community.

Brief description of the reconstruction and site adaptation at this stage. Police and paramilitary forces brutally broke into the apartment, beating the miners present and detaining Ludwiczak. Stanisław Siorek describes how he was attacked and lost consciousness. In response to these events, the miners decided to start a strike.
