JANUARY 2026

Looking from Wincentego Pola Street, picturesque curved elements have been installed on the façade of the new section of the ŚCWiS building; these will soon support the distinctive chequerboard-patterned structure covering the rooftop terraces.
Architectural details are also beginning to appear on the building’s brick façades.

DECEMBER 2025

The new passageway between the ŚCWiS buildings has taken on a more complete form. The canopy over one of the entrances adds life to the new façade, hinting at the building’s final appearance. The recently unveiled mural is already waiting to welcome visitors to ŚCWiS who will be coming to see us in the spring.

NOVEMBER 2025

In November, a mural commemorating the Nine Miners from “Wujek" was created on one of the Centre’s walls. It was painted by the French artist “Al Sticking." In a sense, he recreated a mural of his own design that he had originally painted on another wall of the mine building in 2018. Due to the current renovations, the previous mural had to be removed, which led to the initiative to recreate it.
