Education is one of the core activities of the Silesian Freedom and Solidarity Centre, named in honour of the Nine Miners from Wujek. The educational programme is designed for organised groups of primary and secondary school students, offering them a unique opportunity to learn directly from experienced historians, including both the Centre’s staff and researchers specialising in the history of 20th-century Poland and Silesia. The topics covered in the classes are carefully selected so they can support the school curriculum not only in history, but also in English language studies and art history.
